The NFL games would be incomplete without fierce competitiveness. That is exactly what has been witnessed in the exchanges in the games. Thus, it eventually paves the way for rivalries, as seen on the Netflix series ‘Quarterback’. Interestingly, once again the heat has been turned up by none other than the Raiders DE Maxx Crosby.
The Chiefs and the Raiders have a long and storied rivalry, dating back to their AFL days. One of the most talked about rivalries reached new heights when Maxx Crosby took on QB Patrick Mahomes last season. Now, once again, the DE has revealed his unapologetic behavior and reasons for acting this way, particularly targeting the QBs.

Pat McAfee is known for inviting guests to his show and expressing some of the most candid opinions. This time, surprisingly, it was the 2X Pro Bowler Maxx Crosby who was being interviewed. And just like that, Crosby did not hold back from putting forth strong remarks. Although, this time, his statements concerned the QBs of the gridiron.
With a bold smile on his face, he said, “I’m constantly trying to find a little edge and bother quarterbacks and bother running backs, whoever it is.” He further detailed his mindset by mentioning the lens through which many view him.
Especially referring to his Netflix audience, who often see him in an antagonistic role, Crosby didn’t seem to mind the opinion. The 26-year-old said, “I’m not shy about it. People can take it in any way they want. They can say I’m you know an a**hole or villain. But I embrace it, you know I don’t get you know… I really don’t give a damn, so it is what it is.”
With 5.5 sacks in 6 games this season, Crosby is amongst the sack leaders in all the NFL. Not only that, but the DE has sacked 28-year-old Mahomes 4 times in their meetings. To say that their upcoming game will be entertaining would be an understatement. Soon, the rivalry that started in 1960 will continue in a much-awaited phase.

Chiefs have the Raiders in their crosshairs
After losing their Week 1 game against the Detroit Lions, the Chiefs are on a 5-game winning streak. While the Raiders have looked a bit unsure at times, they have a 2-game winning streak. The teams will face each other for the 129th time this season and the Chiefs will look to carry forward their advantage.
The 2X Super Bowl winner Patrick Mahomes is having a blessed season. With 1,593 yards for 11 touchdowns, Mahomes is the leader of the attack for the Chiefs. They will look to extend their 72-game wins record against the Raiders in their next face-off on 27th November at Arrowhead Stadium. Consequently, this game is primed to produce fireworks as Mahomes and Crosby will once again lock horns.
