Zach Wilson‘s fate may have stumbled, but it appears he is making a comeback. This attention didn’t start with the season but before Aaron Rodgers‘ trade when he expressed his desire to play for New York.

However, as he was carted off the field due to injury in his debut game with the team, fans began placing the responsibilities on the shoulders of young QB Zach Wilson. But, reportedly due to his recent improved performances, Wilson seems to be breaking free from controversies. He put up a strong fight against the reigning champion Kansas City Chiefs, even when Rodgers was present to support his team.

However, after observing Zach Wilson’s performance in the last game against the strong Chiefs team, football enthusiasts feel that their team is in good hands. So, does this mean Rodgers won’t come back? In a recent episode of ‘The Pat McAfee Show,’ Pat McAfee analyzed the conditions of both Wilson and Rodgers. McAfee pointed out that everyone in the stadium during the Sunday night football game seemed to have a positive view of Wilson.

Regarding Rodgers, McAfee stated, “He’s moving, much better than I think any of us could have imagined.” His co-host added that the pace of A-Rod suggests he “might be back in week 10, week 11.” Does this mean Wilson might have to step aside again? However, the show hosts also highlighted the reason behind the Jets to a close loss with a margin of only 3 points is surely Wilson’s talent. His skills were never in question; he had it in him. Due to controversies and unfortunate situations, Wilson wasn’t able to perform well. However, with two touchdowns and zero interceptions in his recent performance, Wilson received praise from all corners.

What’s even more interesting is how fast he was walking just a few days after his ankle surgery. This suggests that he is recovering well and may return to the field in no time.

Additionally, A-Rod and his Jets were seen discussing some strategies on the field, and surprisingly, the Jets performed well during the game. Rodgers’ presence on the field motivated the players who were making plays for their current QB, Wilson. Wilson, too, gained self-confidence with Rodgers’ guidance upon his return.

Although the gray-bearded man will require a few more weeks to fully recover from his medical issues, he is determined to provide every possible help to his team so they can make it to the playoffs.
