In a classic crossover showdown, the Kansas City Chiefs’ dynamic duo, Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, squared off against NBA legends Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson in the eighth installment of ‘The Match.’ This gridiron-QB-and-TE combo brought their A-game to the 12-hole charity event at The Wynn Golf Club in Las Vegas, Nevada.
And just like clockwork in every Chiefs game, Mahomes’ biggest fan and cheerleader extraordinaire, Brittany Mahomes, worked her magic on the sidelines. Brittany shared her husband’s golf practice session on Instagram stories, where he showcased his skills to their son Bronze, who played audience.

From greens glory back to gridiron
The Chiefs’ darlings, Mahomes and Kelce, dominated the fairways and greens for 10 thrilling holes, securing a 2-UP lead over their Warriors counterparts. As the par breakers began to dwindle for the footballers turned golfers, their winning streak remained unbroken. With pars on two of the next three holes, the Chiefs teammates stretched their lead to an impressive 4 UP through six.
Back on the gridiron, Mahomes and his squad are strapping on their helmets, locking and loading for an epic showdown with the Minnesota Vikings, led by none other than ‘Captain’ Kirk Cousins himself. After narrowly escaping with a win against the Jets, the Chiefs got a wake-up call that even though they won by just a field goal, it was far from their best performance this season.
