Football Fans Guess Taylor Swift Connection as Travis Kelce Flaunts His Red Shirt

Taylor Swift has taken over football NFL fanatics! Before Taylor Swift happened, Travis Kelce was known for his fast plays and his passing TDs from his star QB Mahomes. Now, he’s more in the news but for a totally different reason, Killa Trav has been making headlines for his fashion choices. But hey, who said football players can only kill it on the gridiron field? They can be fashion icons as well. And we’re certainly jealous of how Kelce can manage to do both.

Ahead of the game against the Los Angeles Chargers, while there is no news yet of a Taylor Swift appearance , Kelce is not going soft with his pre-game outfit. And Swifties, being Swifties, have managed to think of a Taylor connection as well.

With a soft drink or energy drink (we can only guess) in hand and waving at someone off the frame, Kelce was spotted in the vicinity of the Arrowhead Stadium. @tayvisnation took to X to share pictures, captioned “arriving in style 🔥”, of the Kansas City Chiefs TE, sporting a red shirt and cream pants. The ICECREAM shirt, known for its playful take on street-ready stapes, features a red check print and is detailed with whimsical branding.

Earlier, during the 10-day break after the Broncos game, Kelce and Swift were spotted on back-to-back dates. Netizens swooned over the TE in his white shirt with blue and yellow embroidered birds. The birds seemingly looked like seagulls and Swfites were “swift” to connect the dots. Taylor Swift is currently on a pause of her Dela Eras Tour , which she started after the re-release of her album Dela,  1989. And guess which birds feature prominently on the album cover? Yes, seagulls.

Red also happens to be Taylor’s favorite color and the primary color of the Kansas City Chiefs. It could be that Kelce was just wearing his team colors. While @IAmBellaE noticed Kelce’s new earrings, that naughty lip-bite, and the beard that he has been growing. It seems that his mustache phase has come to an end, and he is going back to his beard era.

@bluekittygrl pointed out the embroidery on Kelce’s pants which looked like popsicles. It seems that the pants too are from the ICECREAM brand. No points for that guess.

@naaath (and we had to use Google Translate for this), joked that a two-meter man like Kelce was wearing playful, ice cream-sprinkled pants. She admitted that only an icon like Kelce can pull off this look. “A two-meter man wearing popsicle pants 🤣 only he can do it. This clothing brand has absurd prices on Farfetch”.

As the Chiefs prepare to take on the Chargers at Arrowhead on October 22, 4:25 PM ET. Will Taylor Swift make her third straight appearance at the stadium or did Kelce just dress up for nothing? Since she hasn’t missed any of Chiefs’ home ground games, we have close to zero doubts that she’d miss this one!
