Buffalo Bills fans skipped a beat as their safety Damar Hamlin crashed to the floor. And after nine minutes into the game against the Bengals, he was carted off the field. He had suffered cardiac arrest and literally died playing the game he loved. But it was not the last we would get to hear of him. Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, Hamlin made a miraculous recovery. And today the phoenix took to the gridiron field again.
As he walked onto the field for the match against the Dolphins, the entire stadium, both Dolphins and Bills fans rose to applaud him and gave him a resounding welcome. There were no Dolphins or Bills for a few seconds, just one big family joined together by a love for football. Will Hamlin’s return be the lucky charm for the Bills? It would seem so, as just 6 minutes into the game, the team scored their first touchdown!
It’s go time. 🫶#MIAvsBUF | #BillsMafia pic.twitter.com/5nmAotOV1W
