Russell Wilson and Ciara join hands for a million-dollar cause!

According to the official Twitter page of the off-field Denver Broncos, Russell Wilson and Ciara have donated one million dollars through their @WhyNotYouFdn and @commonspirit. They contributed, “$100,000 to 10 different organizations that share a passion for health equity, education, food security, social justice, and support for children and youth.” Pregnant Ciara also shared a video of the event with her fans on Twitter.

Russell Wilson and Ciara’s “Why Not You” foundation was founded in 2014 to fight poverty through education, to inspire young people, and to embrace a “why not you” attitude within them. In the picture, the couple can be seen sporting big smiles with other humanitarian members as huge NFL banners hang in the background.

The foundation’s mission is to ensure equal educational opportunities for students. It also promotes children’s health and wellbeing, and address food insecurity. In February of this year, the Why Not You foundation announced that it would continue its mission to help those in need, and on October 18, that promise appears to have been initiated.

Despite the couple’s off-the-field efforts, Denver’s quarterback Wilson has yet to live up to the hype and expectations of Denver’s fans on the field.

Russell Wilson has his toes dipped in trouble!

Since the start of the season, Wilson and the Broncos have failed to live up to the hype that Denver nation has been expecting since Sean Payton arrived on the scene as the head coach. This was especially true in their most recent game against rival the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium.

On Thursday night, Wilson finished 13 of 22 for 95 yards and a touchdown from Courtland Sutton, but he also threw two picks. Wilson’s inability to keep his team’s offense on track played a major role in Denver losing 19-8. Furthermore, Wilson missed multiple open receivers, and was hit four times.

With the disastrous start to the season, the Orange team led by Wilson is 5-1 so far till Week 6. There are questions about Wilson’s starter position, and some sources are even saying that his future in Denver is surrounded by uncertainity.
