The Kansas City Chiefs, in Week 5, have marked their first hat trick win of the season after beating the New York Jets by 23-20 at the MetLife Stadium, the Jets’ home ground. Patrick Mahomes was the absolute star, leading the Chiefs to victory with a knee slide first down in the last quarter. The Chiefs played their lowest, and the Jets gave it their all, with QB Zach Wilson playing his best.

This nail-biting affair had many A-listers flocking to MetLife to watch the gridiron clash of seismic proportions. Taylor Swift, who sold out MetLife thrice, became cheerleader extraordinaire for rumored beau Travis Kelce. Sadly, Kelce couldn’t score a single touchdown.

Kelce passed the Swiftie test. Admittedly, not with passing colors. But he did; the Kansas City Chiefs trusted tight end and his crew defeated the New York Jets. Swift has been at Kelce’s last two games, and the Swifties and the NFL have embraced each other like old pals.

However, many fans feel that the NFL is ‘overdoing’ it. And guess who just agreed!

The man himself. Travis Kelce and Big Bro Jason Kelce were discussing Swift’s appearance at MetLife, and Jason asked Travis for his honest opinion about the NFL overdoing it. Travis laid it out straight, “I think it’s fun when they show who all is at the game. But at the same time, I think they’re overdoing it a little bit for sure, especially my situation.” Jason further added that the NBA has it figured a tad better than the NFL, to which Travis promptly agreed, “Yeah, and they’re not there to get thrown on TV.”

Taylor Swift’s new BFF

The ‘Lover’ hitmaker made a new BFF in Kansas City. Swift was spotted chatting up a storm with the WAG Queen of the Chiefs, Brittany Mahomes, while the duos’ partners were busy sweating it out on the field. The pair were seated at MetLife in a swanky suite along with Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, and Hugh Jackman. Sophie Turner also joined the entourage.
