Three games into the season, the Broncos have made their worst start in history. The offense has been in shambles, and the defense isn’t better either. The ‘Orange Crush’ has a lot of problems around the field, but to be honest Russell Wilson isn’t one of them. Even though he has failed to change the outcomes so far, the Super Bowl-winning quarterback has been the standout performer for the Broncos. His statistics do speak for themselves.

But the fans had a completely different reaction to his match week one display. It was a disappointment at best, and his performances have slowly progressed over the weeks since. It’s notable cause it shows his willpower and determination to thrive under pressure, and no shortcomings are going to stop him from reaching his goal.

It was a miserable season opener for the quarterback, as he managed a forgettable 177 yards against the LV Raiders. The rest of his game, although not as bad, failed to change the match trajectory as the Raiders edged past the Broncos. But after a gust of criticism, he has turned things around, at least on personal terms.

In his last two games against the Commanders and Dolphins, the QB managed to rack up 300 passing yards on both. The Broncos’ repeated humiliations didn’t stop Russell from scoring a couple of solid touchdowns, including three against the Commanders. ‘Mr. Comeback’, known for his last-quarter comebacks and long-range passing abilities, has had over 65% pass completion rate on average. And managing back-to-back 107+ passer ratings, it is mostly the Broncos who have failed him.
