Injured Aaron Rodgers appeared in one of the New York Jets’ meetings to support his replacement, Zach Wilson. The iconic trade in NFL history, Aaron Rodgers ending his 18-year tenure with the Green Bay Packers to start fresh with the New York Jets, just ended in vain. Rodgers’ injury in the season opener against the Buffalo Bills had put the Jets’ dream of ending their Super Bowl drought under doubt.

But it seems like the Jets are reigniting their hopes before the next matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs. Rod himself took the lead and came in to radiate his prowess to Zach Wilson.

NFL insider Jordan Schultz shared a tweet highlighting Rodgers’ presence in the Jets facility. Moreover, Rodgers will be attending the game against the Chiefs after receiving a green flag from his doctor. 

Sharing an update, Schultz wrote, “Sources: Aaron Rodgers is currently in the #Jets’ facility and will attend Sunday Night Football against the #Chiefs, after being cleared by his doctor. I’m told Rodgers just attended the team meeting and spoke to his teammates.  Good boost for Zach Wilson to have Rodgers there supporting him.

Rodgers’ presence on the team, be it on or off the field, will be a boost for the entire camp. Furthermore, young Zach Wilson receiving A-Rod’s support is a positive sign for the Jets before the game against the reigning champions, the Kansas City Chiefs.

At Metlife Stadium, two quarterbacks, Wilson and Mahomes, will take positions on the gridiron for their respective teams. The Sunday night matchup will be the highlight of Week 4 in the AFC. Followed by immense hype around Taylor Swift’s attendance for the game between the Chiefs and the Jets. However, the reigning champions are the favorites to continue their victory drill, but no one can predict the exact result, and that’s what the sporting landscape is all about, right?

But young Zach Wilson already has three TDs to his name in the 2023 season, and now, under the guidance of Rodgers, the numbers are supposed to ascend for Wilson.
