Two-time NFL MVP Patrick Mahomes once said, “You don’t get to see that people really have to work hard to become as good as they are.” But even though he is a bit like normal folks, he mixes his hard work with a dash of superstition — it being Lululemon underwear and a costly one at that!
This pair of red underwear was gifted to the superstar QB by none other than his high school sweetheart and now wife, Brittany Mahomes. What’s interesting to note here is the time he’s been wearing this same underwear. After all, you also wouldn’t let it go if you’ve won two Super Bowls wearing it. Yes, it’s been that long.

In 2018, Brittany appeared on a ‘Shootin’ It with Sophie Julia’ podcast, where she opened up about this lucky charm. “I bought Patrick lucky game day underwear — red underwear from Lululemon — and he’s worn them every game day.”
The underwear is most probably ‘Always in Motion’ boxers which are available at the premium price of $38 but sometimes for as low as $29. Now, if you think it’s been five years since then and the QB, with a $503 million contract, isn’t wearing the same pair, you are wrong.
The 28-year-old’s teammate for five years, backup QB Chad Henne, revealed something interesting earlier this year. “Same pair of underwear, which probably not a lot of people know, on game day. He’s been wearing it since I’ve been part of it (team).” Mahomes will surely be wearing his lucky undies for his next challenge as well.

Mahomes and Co. are sitting atop the table as the Broncos are suffering at the bottom. The Broncos will need to disrupt Mahomes and force him into mistakes. This is their only hope.
