The leaders of AFC East will take on the third-placed team of AFC South in Sunday’s match. The Bills have a 3-1 record, while the Jaguars have a 2-2 record. But the Bills should not get complacent as the final injury report before Sunday’s match threw up a list of injured players that could upset the Bills’ dominance.

This will be the second of the five international matches of this season. The first one took place on October 1, with the Jaguars facing off against the Atlanta Falcons. The Jaguars secured a comfortable victory of 23-7. Will they manage to repeat their luck on British soil?

Bills roster riddled with injuries

The Bills arrived on Friday, in London for their Friday practice. According to their report, two players have been ruled out for the Sunday game. DE Greg Rousseau will not play due to a foot injury he suffered in last week’s game against the Falcons. CB Tre’Davious White will also skip the game due to an Achilles injury. Edge rusher Von Miller, who had returned to practice on Wednesday, was a limited participant and has been listed as “Questionable”. It seems like there is a small chance that Von Miller will finally make his debut.

Free Safety Jordan Poyer is nursing a knee injury, while CB Christian Benford has a shoulder injury. Both of their playing statuses are questionable. With the Bills’ defense considerably weakened, it looks like the Jaguars have the upper hand when it comes to offense. Playing against a weaker defense could help them finally tip the 0.500 score in their favor. Will Josh Allen and Co. manage to take down the Jaguars?

Will the predator become the prey?

It looks like the stay in London after their first game did not help improve the Jaguars’ situation. The Jaguars, too, will be without their linebacker, Devin Lloyd, who did not practice all week. Important starters such as wide receivers Zay Jones, Parker Washington and Jamal Agnew, and DT Foley Fatukasi are questionable. Is there any silver lining?

LB Josh Allen seems to have recovered from his shoulder injury and was in full participation during the last two practice sessions. While the Bills seem to have a weakened defense, the Jaguars will have a thinned-out offense because of their injured WRs.

The Bills have something going for them. Beating the Miami Dolphins who were till then unbeaten has boosted their confidence. And the Dolphins have one of the best offenses in the league. The Jaguars, not so much. The Buffalo Bills face off against the Jacksonville Jaguars on 8 October at 09:30 am ET, at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. Will the $258 million Josh Allen continue to lead the Bills to another victory?
