It’s an excellent time to be on the Cleveland Browns’ side as they have proved themselves to be the underdogs after the fight against the San Francisco 49ers. However, the team is in a slump because of an extensive injury list as the star QB1 Deshaun Watson, Kareem Hunt, and Amari Cooper are facing challenges of their own. Safe to say, in the game against the Indianapolis Colts, the Browns might have to muster all the life force to fight them.

Adam Schefter’s post sheds light on the Cleveland Browns’ situation. Things are looking up for the Browns, though, because by Friday, most of the injured players were back to practice in some capacity. So, what upsets the Browns now?

The tweet from Adam Schefter sparks some hope in the Browns fans, as it is not all that bleak. According to him, Browns RB Kareem Hunt is listed as questionable to play the Sunday game against the Indianapolis Colts. The running back has suffered a thigh injury but has shown limited participation in the training camp. However, he will be tested before the game to see if he is in playing condition.

Hunt did play against the San Francisco 49ers and won with one touchdown alone, where he was targeted 3 times over 24 yards. In the same match, he had 12 carries over 47 yards. It has been quite some time since the RB joined the league, and so far, his stats have not been disappointing, as he has scored 32 touchdowns in the 79 games he has played throughout his career. It’s safe to say that the Browns are missing one of their main offensive weapons.

About 9 injured players are on the Browns’ roster, 3 of whom were expected to carry the game.

Apart from Kareem Hunt, who has a thigh injury for Week 7, the WR1 Amari Cooper is also taking rest but fully participated in the practices. Also, the good news is that the QB1 Deshaun Watson, though going through a shoulder injury, is showing full participation in the practice but is still listed as questionable for the next game. Along with this, linebacker Sione Takitaki and cornerback Greg Newsome II have hamstring injuries. Takitaki is out indefinitely.

The opposition still looks in better shape, with 6 of their players injured and most did not participate in practice. Both teams are trailing in their respective divisions, with the Colts in 2 place in the AFC South, while the Browns secured 3 place for themselves in the AFC North.
