The pass rusher under attention here is returning to his roots. Frank Clark was originally drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the 2015 NFL draft. He later played with the Kansas City Chiefs and, in July of this year, signed a two-year deal with the Denver Broncos. However, things have taken a turn for the defensive end.
Sean Payton and his Orange team are marching toward a youth movement and have made some drastic changes to their roster. Earlier, they traded veteran Randy Gregory to the strong team of this season, the San Francisco 49ers. Now, once again, Denver is trading their veteran linebacker, $74 net worth million Frank Clark.

The struggling 1-5 Broncos have made the decision to release their seasoned pass rusher, Frank Clark. In an effort to enhance his appeal as a trade candidate, reports indicate that he willingly relinquished nearly $1.7 million of his salary. Unfortunately, despite their best efforts, the Broncos were unable to secure a trade partner for Clark.
The rusher initially signed a one-year deal with the Broncos in June, but his tenure with the team was short-lived, spanning just two games before both parties agreed to part ways. Now, there are strong indications that he might be making a return to his former team, the Chiefs.
According to NFL reporter Dov Kleiman, “Pass-Rusher Frank Clark signing back with the #Chiefs following his release from the #Broncos is the “Most Likely” scenario.” The 30-year-old edge-rusher has an impressive career record of 265 tackles (with 58.5 sacks), and 67 tackles for loss in his 122 regular season games.

It is worth noting that his 13.5 sacks in the playoffs rank third in NFL history. Clark is in his ninth season in the NFL and has accomplished many milestones during his career. He has been named to three consecutive Pro Bowls as a Chiefs player from 2019 to 2021 and has won two Super Bowls with the team.

Frank Clark can find his home in these teams….
It appears the Broncos are making moves as the NFL trade deadline on October 31 approaches. According to reports, aside from the possibility of rejoining Patrick Mahomes and his team, Frank Clark could also explore the option of signing with the Las Vegas Raiders. The Raiders are in need of help at the defensive end position, especially opposite Maxx Crosby.
The reason this is an attractive option is that the Raiders use a 4-3 defensive scheme, which suits Clark’s skills. Moreover, the Los Angeles Rams emerged as another possible landing spot for Clark. They’re grappling with the challenge of replacing Von Miller and Leonard Floyd, who have moved on to the Buffalo Bills.

With a shortage of reliable pass rushers, excluding defensive tackle Aaron Donald, the Rams could greatly benefit from a veteran presence in their front seven. Finally, the New York Giants are another team on the radar. They have multiple areas that need improvement, evident in their 1-4 start.
Their challenge in generating a consistent pass rush is particularly evident, and Frank Clark could potentially address this issue. In his present contract with the Broncos, Frank Clark was signed for a one-year, $7.5 million deal. At the beginning of this week, the Broncos and Clark adjusted their contract to simplify the trade process.
