All of us have made a prediction one time or the other which has blown up in our faces. But thankfully that prediction did not feature a star QB or was not probably made on a prominent front. However, the same cannot be said for the Denver Broncos‘ head coach, Sean Payton. His words from last year featuring Tua Tagovailoa have come back to haunt him.
Thanks to the amazing win the Miami Dolphins have scripted, their primary QB has turned many heads toward the star-studded field. Although, the victory isn’t the only thing that has the attention of the spectators. In fact, the triumph has many recalling the words voiced by Payton last year and it appears that Tagovailoa finally has an answer ready for the 59-year-old.

The Miami Dolphins obliterated The Denver Broncos 70-20. With Tyreek Hill and star QB Tua Tagavailoa running rampant for the Dolphins, Head Coach Payton probably might be reminiscing his words from a year ago. On the show The Herd, he made infamous remarks about the current QB of the Dolphins.
Payton said to Colin Cowherd, “Tua will be benched by the Dolphins, later this year (Teddy) Bridgewater will be the starter.” This bold statement of the coach then received a lot of attention, given the performance of the footballer. However, it wouldn’t be far-fetched to say that these claims have been duly challenged, credits to the recent face-off of Dolphins and Broncos.
The evidence of the same was visible when Tagovailoa completed the first 17 passes of the game out of the 26 with an accuracy of more than 88%. Consequently, inscribing his dominance. With the footballer completing a distance of 309 yards, he made 4 touchdowns. It was only obvious for fans to be delighted by this performance.

However, the victory of the Dolphins wasn’t the only thing on the minds of the football enthusiasts. Many of them have taken this chance to shower with sarcasm and mock the Broncos HC Payton as well.
Fans find a reason to mock HC

Another commented, “Sean Payton has become a cartoon of himself. The game has passed him by and he should have stayed retired.” Some fans were quick to remind him of his words from a year ago. They said, “Sean Payton’s mouth wrote checks his coaching can’t cash,” and “Sean Payton just says stuff that keeps biting him back”
Fans, apart from praising the star QB for his accomplishments in the game, also wondered if Payton’s words provided motivation for 50 point win against Broncos. One Tua supporter wrote, “You think Tua had this week circled on his calendar?” As another one enjoyed the game, especially the touchdowns and hence, tweeted, “Love seeing this. Tua proving the doubters wrong one game at a time”.
