The Indianapolis Colts made a roaring comeback last week against the Titans in a convincing win  23-16. It was much needed as the setback against the Rams 29-23 in the week four game has left them stranded in a precarious position with two wins and two losses. The Colts have set their eyes on the mark by registering three wins in five games in the ongoing tournament.

All is not going well in the Colts’ dugout, somehow they are again faced with a difficult conundrum. In the win against the Titans the Colts were left stranded as their young and promising quarterback Anthony Richardson injured his shoulder pretty badly. Let’s find out the current status.

Richardson injured his right shoulder which resulted in significant damage to his AC joints. We were left wondering about the status of the injury and whether he will play today against the Jaguars. Ian Rapoport has shared the much-needed news through his social media handle on X. Ian Rapoport said that “the Colts may have to wait until 2024 to see more of QB Anthony Richardson. Sources say season-ending surgery is being strongly considered”.

This will come as a significant jolt as the QB performed his level best in the last week’s games and has been showing promising signs this season by securing 3 touchdowns with more than 500 passing yards in just 4 games.
