On September 28, Kelsea Ballerini attended the People’s Choice Country Awards as a nominee on the red carpet. When the “IF YOU GO DOWN” singer was asked about her thoughts on the rumored dating news involving Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, Ballerini replied, “Listen, I have no skin in this game, but I love Travis.”

She continued, “We did SNL together,” recalling the presence of the football star at the Saturday Night Live back in March this year. Alongside acknowledging knowing Kelce, the pop singer also said, “I love Taylor. We were close for many years.” Her answer indicated a good note of a relationship between the two singers.

Further explaining her answer, the music artist said, “And I want happiness for everyone. So, vibe!” Like many others, Ballerini chose to speak positively and enthusiastically about Swift and Kelce’s possible new romance, sending a nice message across to the viewers.

The alleged romance between the athlete and the country music singer started when the Chiefs’ tight end had wanted to share a customized bracelet with Taylor Swift.

The rumors about Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift began in July at Arrowhead Stadium when Tay-Tay appeared to perform as part of her Era Tour in Kansas City. Travis Kelce, accompanied by his close friend Patrick Mahomes, attended the show.

As a fan of Swift, Kelce wanted to meet the “Blank Space” singer, share a customized bracelet he had designed for her with the number 87 (referring to Travis Kelce’s jersey number), and exchange phone numbers. Unfortunately, though, they didn’t get to meet at that time!

Later, in the team’s official TikTok video, when asked about his celebrity crush, Kelce took a moment to think, but his teammate interrupted with “Taylor Swift.” Kelce chuckled at his teammate’s answer, and later on, during Week 3 of this season, the world witnessed the “Reputation” singer attending the game.

She cheered from the team’s private VIP suite alongside Kelcey’s mother, Donna Kelce. Now, fans are eagerly anticipating Taylor Swift’s attendance at the Chiefs’ game in New York at MetLife Stadium.
