After Supporting Ex-Friend Kayla Nicole, Jackson Swipes Left on Brittany’s Instagram Post

With all the media attention on Travis Kelce’s rumored girlfriend, Taylor Swift, his ex-girlfriends have also been feeling the heat. As soon as the rumors of a Kelce-Swift link-up started, Maya Benberry asked Taylor Swift to “be smart” when it came to Kelce. And the media hounded Kayla Nicole for her opinion about her ex-boyfriend’s love life. After Kelce and Kayla broke up in May of 2022, it seems that the entire Chiefs family has maintained a careful distance from her.

But two days ago, in a gesture of goodwill, Jackson Mahomes commented on Kayla’s post. It gave rise to speculations that the two are still in touch. What’s more, Jackson even ignored a post by his sister-in-law, while praising his ex-friend.

When friends become closer than family

Following the Chiefs’ domination of the Denver Broncos, 19-8, Brittany Mahomes took to Instagram to post a picture of herself after the match. She sported a cute skirt, a full-sleeved white sweater, and a pair of boots. While her followers filled the comments section with compliments regarding her look and her fashion game, one person’s silence was deafening.

The social media bug that he is, TikTok influencer and brother-in-law, Jackson Mahomes was AWOL in the comments. This comes as a surprise, especially since just two days ago Jackson had commented on his former friend and Kelce’s ex-girlfriend, Kayla Nicole’s post. Kayla had posted a picture of herself in a stunning brown dress and Jackson complimented her by saying, “THAT GIRL.🔥”. 

Chiefs fans were left wondering why he was not supporting the superwife of their team’s QB and instead chose to support their TE’s ex-girlfriend. To be fair to Kayla, she has had a tough time ever since she broke up with Kelce and this support seems like the bare minimum consolation.

Ex-girlfriend warned Swift about Kelce

After Kayla broke up with Travis in the May of 2022, the media hounded her with questions. Media speculated that she broke with up him because he would make her pay 50% of the bill whenever they hung out. Another of Kelce’s girlfriends, Maya, who had to win the show Catching Kelce to become his date, accused him of cheating on her.

She went so far as to warn Swift to be wary of the footballer and his usual dating ways. But it seems that Taylor is not going to let his past come in the way of their budding romance.
