The troubles for the Chicago Bears keep getting worse and worse. Days after Allan Willians’ resignation, the Bears have crumbled to a saddening defeat against the Kansas City Chiefs. In the first three-quarters against the defending champions, the Bears could not set foot into the game. Things got a little better in the fourth, but it was nearly not enough to repair the damages. And their off-field battle, meanwhile, has just begun.
Mostly running around hopelessly, the Bears looked clueless against the Patrick Mahomes-led offense line. Thanks to his early leave, the Bears finally had something to play for in the fourth quarter. Normally after such an embarrassment, the management would want to call in their defensive coordinator and ask him to fix things. But there lies the irony.

After chasing the ball for 45 minutes, the Bears were able to register some 10 points on the scoreboard. They may get their credit, but one easily diminished. Seeing the advantage in hand, Andy Reid called it a day for Patrick Mahomes on the third. By the time he was substituted, the quarterback already completed 24/33 passes for 272 yards and three touchdowns. Following, the rest of the team didn’t continue with the pressure, giving the Bears some breathing space.
Going into the match, the Bears were already in a state of devastation. On 20 September, defensive coordinator Allan Williams resigned, citing family and health reasons. However, according to several media reports, he had to resign in the light of ‘inappropriate conduct’. Rumors even circulated around the FBI raiding Allan’s property and launching a probe into it, although his lawyer and the Bears claimed it to be fake.
What’s not fake is that the once-mighty Bears have now completely fallen apart and without a defense, well and truly.
Enraged fans want a complete overhaul of the Bears
Understandably, fans have gone berserk. Even before the game ended, already realizing what was coming, social media started filling with reactions. Mostly anger and despair, and we can’t blame those. One X (formerly Twitter) user demanded a complete makeover of the team, insisting they should get rid of the coaching staff, the managing staff, and even the players.
IT IS TIME: For the Chicago #Bears to blow up everything from the General Manager, head coach, and the entire current staff.
THEY NEED TO HIT THE COMPLETE RESET BUTTON.
Trade Justin Fields and whatever players with any value.
There is already a sense in league circles that…

One fan had completely given up.
#Bears #BearsNation
The most unprepared team in the league. It’s embarrassing as a Chicago Bears fan.Poor coaching, worst game plans, zero accountability by coaches and players, in game adjustments?….why would we.
Fire the staff now.
My Bears fandom is for sale.

Some even added that the players have no trade value, meaning they can’t be offloaded.
Fields has no value there’s like 2 players on the roster with any trade value

Although a few of them remained hopeful that things would eventually become better.
Hold up, bub. They have a whole half of football to play. They could bring this game back.

Have to hope Caleb Williams doesn’t decide to stay another year in college rather than play for the Bears.

Things have escalated from bad to worse for the Bears real quick. At this moment, they don’t know what to expect from their next games, and neither do the fans. While nobody’s getting fired now outside social media imaginations, nothing is guaranteed in the long run. Only a miracle can save the Bears’ season, and the miracle must come from within. We as fans, can only hope.
