The New York Jets just notched their second W of the season and sent shockwaves through the NFL, letting everyone know they’ve got a ton of pigskin prowess left in their playbook. The Jets kicked off the season on a rocky note, losing their superstar QB Aaron Rodgers to an ACL tear in the opener. But fear not, because backup sensation Zach Wilson stepped up to the plate and led the Jets to a thrilling 22-16 victory against the Buffalo Bills.

Yet, the victory parade took a brief hiatus until they swooped down on the Mile High Stadium, the Denver Broncos‘ own backyard, in Week 6. Zach Wilson? Oh, he’s the real deal! He showcased his skills as the Jets’ starting QB, and his performance? Well, let’s just say he’s the talk of the NFL town.

The New York Jets and their head honcho, Nathaniel Hackett, weren’t about to take any guff from Sean Payton and the Denver Broncos, even though they were on the Broncos’ turf. Earlier this year, Payton had thrown some shade at Hackett’s unconventional QB moves and game plan. But Hackett had the perfect response: a 31-21 smack down on the Broncos.

In the process, the Jets grabbed their second dub of the season and silenced any doubters. Zach Wilson, the man of the hour, proved he’s here to stay, as he quarterbacked his way to victory in the absence of Rodgers. Speaking of Rodgers, it seems like there’s an ACL curse haunting the Jets. First, it claimed Rodgers as its inaugural victim, and now, it’s struck again, taking down Alijah Vera-Tucker.

But here’s the silver lining–the diagnosis for Vera-Tucker wasn’t as brutal as expected. However, Tucker will be out for the season due to a torn Achilles. As confirmed by Robert Saleh in a press meet before their week 6 showdown. Effectively sealing Vera-Tucker’s fate for the remainder of the campaign.
