Is Aaron Rodgers a sore loser? Days after the Jets had a crash landing because of the Chiefs, Aaron Rodgers took a ‘jab’ at the Chiefs’ TE. In the faceoff at the MetLife Stadium, the two seemed to be on good terms as they posed for a photograph. With Kelce in part-uniform and A-Rod in crutches, did the 23-20 loss not go down well with the 4x NFL MVP?
Despite being in rehab in California, A-Rod made a special appearance in New Jersey to cheer and support his team against the Chiefs. However, his presence did not have the magical appearance that Jets fans had hoped for.

Kelce finally responded to the jab Aaron Rodgers had taken at him. Instead of being better, he coolly played off the entire incident and even agreed that he did look like someone called Mr. Pfizer. “With this mustache right now I look like a guy named Mr. Pfizer. Who knew I’d get into the vax wars with Aaron Rodgers, man? Mr. Pfizer vs. the Johnson and Johnson family over there.”
Travis Kelce has been a vocal supporter of vaccines. When a reporter asked him why he had been called, “Mr. Pfizer” by the football legend, he said, “I got it because of keeping myself safe, keeping my family safe, the people in this building, so yeah I stand by it 1000%. Fully comfortable with him calling me Mr. Pfizer.” Trust Kelce to not be cool just on the field, but off the field as well! After the entire Taylor Swift episode, he is under the spotlight as it is. He does not need to bring more media attention to himself. But wondering what led to this exchange between the two football stars?

NFL MVP takes a jab at Mr. Pfizer
Days after the Chiefs game, A-Rod made his weekly appearance on The Pat McAfee Show to give updates regarding this health. When discussing the game, he remarked how they managed to keep the Chiefs in line and not score aggressively. “Pat didn’t have a crazy game, and Mr. Pfizer [Kelce], we kind of shut him down. He didn’t have his crazy impact game.” Wondering who he was referring to as “Mr. Pfizer”?
Travis Kelce had appeared in a string of ads promoting Pfizer’s Covid vaccine and flu shots and A-Rod has a somewhat complicated relationship with vaccines. He even missed a game in 2021 due to the NFL’s COVID-19 protocols and was openly critical of the NFL’s pandemic restrictions. He argued the league was on a “witch hunt” to shame unvaccinated players. But now the Jets QB has other things to worry about as his team faces off against the Broncos on October 8. Will the Jets triumph?
