The Chiefs are preparing for a showdown against the Bears
The meeting is between the Chiefs of the AFC West and the Chicago Bears of the NFC North. It is a significant clash because the Bears are one of the few teams that currently hold a historical advantage over the defending champs. Out of their past 13 meetings, the Bears lead the head-to-head tally at 7-6. But things have never looked this unforgiving for the Bears going into this matchup. After losing their first two games, they sit at the bottom of the NFC North, looking for some breathing space.
In match week three, the Bears are desperate to come back as the Chiefs face a mental disadvantage. Kansas can’t let their guard down for a second as the Bears will put everything into the game. If Mahomes and Co. do not take to the field with all cylinders firing, their title defense may very well be on the line. Look out for the showdown on 25 September!
