It seems the goings have been tough for the Colorado Buffaloes and their coach Deion Sanders. After losses to the Oregon Ducks and the USC Trojans, the Buffaloes managed a narrow win against Arizona State. The team members are not in a good mood and are feeling pressure to win, even though their next rival, Stanford Cardinal, is not doing well. What is the Buffaloes think-tank up to?
While everyone raved about the NFL Week 6 game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Denver Broncos, Coach Prime was upset with the NCAA schedule. This, he believes, has been instrumental in his team’s past few performances. Let’s listen in on what he said.

Ahead of the next game against the Cardinal, Sanders went on a rant over the NCAA’s late-night games, describing it as the “stupidest thing ever invented in life.” Talking in his weekly radio show, Coach Prime reportedly said: ?Who makes these 8 o?clock games? Dumbest thing ever. Stupidest thing ever invented in life. Who wants to stay up until 8 o?clock for a darn game? What about the East Coast ? do they even care about ratings? Is anyone watching it? What are we supposed to do with the kids all day until 8 o?clock? What are we supposed to do in the hotel?”
The fact that these games start very late in the night and almost reach midnight to finish does not sit well with Coach Prime. But interestingly, his second home game on September 16, against Colorado State Rams, kicked off after 8 p.m. It has been the most memorable game for the team in recent times as the Buffaloes overcame a 7-point deficit in the 4th quarter to seal the deal in overtime.

It remains to be seen what measures Coach Prime takes when the Buffaloes take on Washington State on November 17 for a late-night kickoff. But there’s still enough time later to think about that.
Today’s game is the second time the Buffaloes will be facing off in a Friday, the 13th, encounter. They had taken on Southern California in 2015, losing 24-27. Will history repeat itself?

That remains a big question for Sanders and the team. However, the Buffaloes are favored to win the game.?A victory will move the Coach Prime-led team a step closer to bowl eligibility. They had finished the last season 1-11. Since 2004, the Buffaloes haven’t won a bowl game.
