We saw some encouraging indicators in the Patriots’ victory over the Jets in the third week, winning by a score of 10-15. The Pats were absolutely destroyed by the Cowboys 38-3 then the Saints 34-0 after that. It was imperative that the Patriots secure a much-needed victory this week.

The Raiders defeated the team 21–17 in a fiercely contested game, handing them their fifth loss. Even though the Pats fought valiantly in the second half, it was insufficient.
