The Kansas City Chiefs could not have asked for a better pair than Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes. While QB Mahomes is giving tight competition to the all-time legend Tom Brady, Travis Kelce is on his way to becoming one of the best tight ends of all time. Reigning MVP Patrick Mahomes has made a habit of securing touchdowns at his will. On the other hand, Travis Kelce has been surpassing every other TE who is playing in the league right now. Everyone in the country is right now in awe of Travis Kelce as he is topping the news charts because of his rumored ongoing relationship with pop star Taylor Swift. Well, now there is one more legend in all praise for the 33-year-old TE.

Gronk says that Kelce is the best!

Retired TE Rob Gronkowski is considered one of the best TEs in the NFL. He has some amazing things to say for the fan favorite, Travis Kelce. In a post shared by Don Kleiman on X just hours ago. In the post, Legend TE Gronk was directly asked who is the best Tight End of all time. He was given a choice between Travis Kelce and himself.

In the shared post, Gronk goes on to admit that Kelce is the best pass-catching TE out there. He said “There is no doubt about it, you can’t even argue, he had seven 1,000 in a row” which is a record. He added that he’s an “Old school style” TE and also said that Kelce is just one year younger than him.

Kelce was drafted by the Chiefs back in 2013, while Gronkowski played his first nine seasons with the New England Patriots. He finished his career last year by representing Tampa Bay in his last two seasons. Gronk was a four-time Superbowl champion and has five Pro Bowls in his name. While Kelce is ahead of Gronk by securing eight Pro Bowls, he has only two Super Bowls.

You can’t deny that Kelce is catching up pretty fast. The Chiefs have now secured five wins on the trot and the behemoth is not showing any signs of slowing down this season. This could mean that Kelce is looking towards his third Super Bowl glory.

For now, he and the Chiefs have to face the Chargers this Sunday. The game will commence at 4:25 p.m. on Sunday at the Arrowhead Stadium.
