The Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat the Atlanta Falcons with a final score of 29-25. We know that Bill Goldberg has a home in his heart for football. He played for the Los Angeles Rams in the 1990 NFL season. He decided to play for the Falcons from 1992 to 1994 but was cut short of his football career. He went on to play for the Carolina Panthers in 1995. However, his love for the Falcons didn’t fade. He might have visited the Falcons game today and left Tyreek Hill speechless.

Hill retweeted NFL on CBS’s tweet on X, and it’s safe to say that Goldberg might be an inspiration for the Miami Dolphins’ WR. Goldberg retired this year in late March but came back just to show his special move for this game. Tyreek Hill couldn’t have been happier reliving an old memory.

Tyreek Hill retweeted a video of Goldberg spearing a TB12 fan in the Atlanta Falcons vs. the Tampa Bay Buccaneers game. Tyreek Hill captions his tweet, “This is probably the coolest thing ever 🥺.” The video shows Goldberg taking off his hat, heading to a Buccaneers fan, spearing him on the ground, and doing his iconic celebration. The fan was then dragged away by the Falcons mascot to the sideline.

All these shenanigans didn’t work out well for the Falcons, as Baker Mayfield and the team beat the Falcons in a nail-biter. Mayfield left the game with a 48.3% pass completion rate, completing 14 of his 29 attempts. He went for two touchdowns, including a 31-yard pass to Rachaad White. The Falcons looked good on paper, at least metrics-wise, but still lost to the Buccaneers.

The Falcons had 338 passing yards to Bucs 142. They also had 96 rushing yards to the Bucs’ 148 and 6.3 yards per play as opposed to the Bucs’ 4.3. The Falcons had more possessions than the Tampa Bay team, better 3rd down efficiency, and fewer penalties. They only had one interception in the game, which probably was a bane to the Falcons.

Also, the Atlanta team allowed three sacks to the Bucs’ one and had less possession time than the Tampa Bay team. Desmond Ridder also looked better on paper, but the Bucs didn’t let him do much, as he also came out with a pass completion rate of 63.3%, one interception, and more sacks than the Falcons could account for.
