Has Dana White rejected the NFL job? After calling soccer “the least talented sport” in the world, the UFC CEO is now showing his least interest in joining the gridiron league, due to some reasons.
White, despite not attending the February 11 game, revealed that he talked to the NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, and suggested that he should host the Super Bowls every year in Las Vegas. This created a buzz among NFL and UFC fans, leading to people wondering about White’s potential move to football. However, the 54-year-old has debunked the speculations with a subtle message.
In the latest episode of “The Rush Pod” podcast, Dana White and Maxx Crosby appeared in the show to talk about the UFC and NFL questions simultaneously. A discussion was initiated about White’s speculated transition to the NFL joining Roger Goodell. The video was also shared on The Rush Pod’s IG with the caption, “Who wants to see Dana White run the NFL?”

White answered, “No matter who the commissioner of the NFL is, NFL fans, people are gonna talk about me….There’s always gonna be critics and criticism of anybody who’s out there in the public and making decisions that people love, and decisions that people don’t like.”
He further added, “Listen, in no way, shape or form do I want to take on running the NFL or any of these other things. I live my own little world over here. I do it my way. I don’t have to answer to anybody. I can do what I want to do. I wouldn’t change one thing. I’m happy where I’m at.”
Saying this, White completely rejected all the speculations and rumors of him joining football, which seemingly picked up pace at the time of his partnership with the NFL for the Super Bowl. From his appearance in a Bud Light commercial during Super Bowl LVIII to signing Howlerhead bottles, While also spoke about the greatest venue for sports like the NFL and NBA.
Dana White also advocated for Las Vagas as the perfect destination for Super Bowl
UFC CEO Dana White, during the Super Bowl weekend, promoted the “celebrity-packed Power Slap 6 event and UFC Vegas 86 fight card at the UFC Apex.” During this time only, he got the chance to talk to the NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, who was also preparing for the league’s big game on February 11. Las Vegas, with its abundance of venues, hotels, entertainment, and cuisine, hosted Super Bowl LVIII between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers.

White expressed his belief to Goodell, during the Power Slap 6 Post-Fight Press Conference, that Las Vegas should be the permanent host of the Super Bowl. He said so because of his love for the city and its unparalleled offerings that attracts everyone. White said, “The Super Bowl, the World Series, the NBA finals, and whatever else should be here like every single year. There isn’t another city that can compete with this city. It’s the greatest city on Earth.” However, the NFL has yet to decide on making Vegas the final destination of their Super Bowl events.
