Aaron Rodgers is reiterating what he said last month. The “Aaron Rodgers-Jimmy Kimmel controversy” isn’t fading so soon. Last time, Rodgers couldn’t share his opinions on The Pat McAfee Show, following his weekly appearance wrapping up after Kimmel “threatened” him to drag him to the courtroom.

Despite A-Rod’s attempt to clarify for the last time in McAfee’s show that he didn’t mention Kimmel’s name as one of the names on the Jeffrey Epstein list, the whole context was misunderstood. Rodgers appeared on Joe Rogan’s show to address the incident more explicitly. However, Rogan did not side with the athlete, admitting he was on Kimmel’s side, along with many others.

Aaron Rodgers appeared as a guest on Wednesday in the latest episode of Joe Rogan’s PowerfulJRE podcast. Rogan asked Rodgers about the Jimmy Kimmel incident and tried to figure out his thoughts on his statements. The NFL quarterback recounted the incident and explained that there was a discussion in “The Pat McAfee Show” about a list coming out, seen as a distraction to something else. He clarified that when he mentioned the list, he was not implying that Jimmy Kimmel was on it.

Rogan then asked for his confirmation, stating that if someone saw the comment out of context, they might think Rodgers was suggesting Kimmel was on the list. The Jets quarterback responded with a clear “no” to the fact that he was suggesting his name. Additionally, he emphasized that the clip was misunderstood because people didn’t watch it, and the headline portrayed him negatively as the “anti-guy” without understanding the context and thinking, “Let’s f*cking Hammer him.”

Rogan then admitted, “Right, but if someone saw that, out of context, you could see, I saw it out of context, I thought that you were saying that Jimmy Kimmel was on that list because a lot of celebrities were on that list.

When Aaron Rodgers commented on Jimmy Kimmel, it caused controversy at ESPN, the broadcaster that airs Pat McAfee’s show and is connected to ABC, where Kimmel hosts his late-night talk program. Mike Foss, an ESPN executive overseeing McAfee’s show, admitted that “Aaron made a dumb and factually inaccurate joke about Jimmy Kimmel. It should never have happened. We all realized that in the moment.

Soon after this, Rodgers, in McAfee’s show, responded by criticizing Foss’ statement, saying, “I don’t understand… a Mike Foss comment because he didn’t help out either… Mike, you’re not helping. You’re not helping because I just read earlier exactly what I said.” He further accused the media of having a game plan to criticize him.
