Tyreek Hill has called out Jake Paul for a showdown! The Miami Dolphins wide receiver has already proved himself in the NFL realm by leading his team’s offense to the top. Now, “Cheetah” is planning something big off the gridiron.

There may be a future encounter involving the NFL and the UFC, a crossover that no one saw coming. However, it’s one that many would look forward to. And UFC President Dana White could make it happen. The head honcho may have said, “In no way, shape, or form do I want to take on running the NFL or any of these other things,” leaving his potential involvement in the football league uncertain.

“I’m happy where I’m at,” White said. And while Tyreek Hill shares those feelings as an NFL player, he’s also ready to enter the octagon. In an appearance on the Fully Tilted podcast with Bob Menery, Tyreek Hill revealed his interest in boxing while also making a plea to Dana White for a cage fight. “Just take it to the cage, bro,” Hill said. “That’s why I want to meet Dana White. I want to get in the cage. I want to get in the cage, or I want to box.”

Hearing this understandably piqued Bob Menery’s interest. It led him to ask, “We can introduce you to Dana tonight, and we can talk about a fight. But here’s the deal. I set things up. That’s what I do. So, who are we fighting?” The wide receiver replied without even a second thought, “I think my first fight needs to be like Jake Paul or something.” When Menery alluded to Jake Paul’s toughness, Hill simply dismissed it.

“I don’t think [he’s tough], bro. I grew up boxing,” he said. And, well, there’s videographic proof that boxing is and has been a part of Hill’s life for quite some time. In a video from 2021 the Dolphins player uploaded on his YouTube channel, he was at Champs Boxing and Fitness in Atlanta. That was just when the off-season had started. Hill explained, “Yes, I come here every single off-season just so I get my footwork right, my pivots, my swirls. All of that good stuff so I can be the best receiver in the league.”

His coach – who also runs the gym – added, “We’ve been working on [this] ever since he was in college.” Tyreek Hill may have never professionally boxed, and Jake Paul may be as tough as he looks. But considering the years of amateur boxing the wide receiver has under his belt, it might be more manageable to battle in the ring. So, what if the two stars fight against each other?

Will Tyreek Hill defeat Jake Paul if they have a battle?

Although Jake Paul is new to the sport, he’s been making a buzz with a stellar record. So, taking on the YouTube-turned-fighter in a fight wouldn’t be a walk in the park for Tyreek Hill. The YouTuber-turned-fighter has made a notable impact in his career since his debut in 2020, boasting an 8-1 record with 5 knockouts.

Additionally, he suffered his only loss in February last year while fighting Tommy Fury. Moreover, standing at 6 feet 1 inch and weighing around 199.4 pounds, Paul is bigger than Hill, who stands at 5 feet 10 inches and weighs about 191 pounds. Therefore, boxing against Paul would be challenging for “Cheetah.” Hill’s confidence and willingness to win against Paul might help him in the battle, but only if it happens. For now, the athlete has a lot to concentrate on the NFL front.
