While talking to the media post-game, Travis Kelce got candid over the insights from the loss. He’d go on to point out the three flaws that were key and most notable from their 2nd home defeat. The first thing Travis Kelce pointed out was his shortcomings, and that he needs to be better for the team.

 


The second observation from the TE was that the team has to reduce the turnovers which was their undoing this time around. The third key factor that led to their defeat was the penalties the Chiefs conceded against the Eagles. Well, the entire team seemed to have shut out in the second half.

Throughout the season, Kansas City’s offense has faced persistent challenges, and in the recent 21-17 game, it was evident that Patrick Mahomes’ receivers posed a significant issue. Despite Mahomes consistently delivering pinpoint throws to his targets, the receivers repeatedly struggled to secure the ball, becoming the primary reason behind the team’s eventual 21-17 loss to Philadelphia.

One of the worst moments of the game was when Marquez Valdes-Scantling dropped one of the crucial catches. However, Mahomes took the entire blame on himself, as he said, “I could probably have thrown it a little bit shorter…” Such things showcase that the Chiefs are focusing on improvement rather than finding reasons behind their loss.
