Football fans are buzzing as Russell Wilson throws not just spirals, but his palatial Denver mansion onto the market. His $25 million estate is perched on 5 acres in Cherry Hills Village. Amidst rumors of him moving on from the Broncos, his house quietly undergoes viewings. Not to mention, Wilson made this record-breaking purchase soon after his 2022 trade from Seattle.

A report by Thomas Gounley of the BusinessDen reveals that this $25 million luxurious property that spreads across a whopping 5acres is available for viewing by potential buyers.

The house is 20,000 square feet of luxury, featuring 12 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms, his-and-hers walk-in closets, and separate guest quarters. Also, the guest apartments, kitchens, offices, and bathroom suites. The property 2,590-square-foot indoor pool and a basketball court beckon. Reportedly, the previous owner had bought the place for $16 million which was later sold for $25 million.

Now, while the sale’s motives remain undisclosed, it coincides with the Broncos’ looming decision on Wilson’s hefty contract. With a $37 million guaranteed payout in 2024, a March deadline looms. Only time will tell if Wilson’s next touchdown pass lands in Denver… or a new city altogether.

Other sets of rumors suggest that Wilson’s benching was to protect the franchise against injury. Wilson’s injury would have resulted in the Broncos being unable to cut him off the roster. Now, subpar records and a late-season benching might lead to a likely release before March 17th.

Russell Wilson’s $37 million salary (2025-2026) will only be guaranteed if he is listed on the roster. Of course, this decision by the team will be made to avoid heavy financial penalties for the team. While his Seattle magic hasn’t quite materialized in Denver, his efficiency could still attract teams seeking a reliable quarterback.
