Kylie Kelce, wife of  Jason Kelce presented a one-of-a-kind speech at her alma mater Cabrini University. Serving as the commencement speaker, the wife of the former Philadelphia Eagles center couldn’t help but share how grateful she was for the opportunity as the University organized its final graduation ceremony on, May 19. Reportedly, Cabrini University already announced closing its gates a year ago, as Villanova University will take over the University campus.

This campus which ran for over 60 years will stop being in operation. However, this did not stop Kylie Kelce from recalling her greatest moments and sweet memories that she will cherish for a lifetime. She touched many hearts through her deliverance, earning laughs from spectators as made sure to include her family and deliver important lessons.

The snippets from this ceremony were also shared on her official Instagram account. The post read, “I am forever grateful that I got the chance to be a Cavalier. Thank you Cabrini for three things that will stay with me for the rest of my life… the education, the memories, and, most importantly, the people. Go Cavs!”

Surprisingly, the speech did not start in a typical fashion. In fact, Kylie made sure to include her NFL star husband during her address. “The university couldn’t even get a top five Kelce as their commencement speaker,” she remarked during her speech. Elaborating on the same, she added, “My husband, Jason Kelce, is known for giving some pretty earth-shattering speeches.”

This was her way of making fans reminisce about the emotional retirement speech given by Jason Kelce. To add more element to the speech, Kylie made sure to let the people taste her sense of humor. Addressing the 36-year-old’s iconic address, Kylie cheekily commented,“He did not help me in writing my words today, so you can go ahead and lower those expectations.”

For staunch Kelce fans, it will be no surprise that Kylie Kelce did not only value education at the institute but also was an active student athlete. Like her husband, Kylie is also a former athlete who played field hockey for the Cabrini University. While her speech was elemental in humor, Kylie made sure to address the audience through her powerful words, embracing the gift of individualism.

Kylie Kelce emphasized the importance of individualism, promoting and encouraging each graduating student to maintain their own characteristics and personality traits. The Cabrini alum went on to highlight the students’ relevance of utilizing distinguishing attributes to make a name for themselves after graduation.

“What a boring world it would be if you and your classmates sitting to either side of you thought exactly the same way, enjoyed exactly the same things, and partook in exactly the same activities. I’ll be damned if I don’t stay true to myself in everything I do and ensure that I am always authentically me,” she remarked.

Thus, showcasing that despite being married in a popular NFL family, the wife of the former center ensures she remains true to herself. She made sure to acknowledge that her alum will no longer be standing at its position. Kylie encouraged young graduates,“In the next few months, as the sign at the front entrance no longer reads Cabrini, and a new school moves in, know that your home still exists. It is around you living inside of everyone who came along and fell in love with this place, because although it is picturesque, it is not the campus that makes it so hard to leave.”
