The Jets have had a mixed bag of performances this season. With four wins and as many losses, the Jets have been are standing right now at the knife?s edge. One more loss and their chances of securing a place in playoffs could take a hit. While they defeated much better teams like the Bills 22-16 and the Eagles 20-14, they also lost 6-27 against the Chargers.

The Jets have won just one Super Bowl, over 54 years ago. They upped the ante this year and improved their chances by securing 39-year-old veteran QB Aaron Rodgers. The four-time Super Bowl champ has given a thundering start by defeating the Bills in his first game but also suffered from a season-ending injury. His replacement, Zach Wilson, has been good in patches. Comparisons with A-Rod are but natural.

Twenty-four-year-old QB Zach Wilson, who came in to replace A-Rod after injury, is receiving flak on his offensive capabilities. He has secured just five TDs in eight games, while in the last four games, he managed to secure only one! Again, a dismal performance against the Chargers has raised some more doubts. In a recent press conference, Zach Wilson was asked some tough questions!

In the video shared by the Jets, a reporter asked Wilson, ?The offense has changed from what it was under to what you’re doing now in terms of not being able to check at the line and change routes change plays, and basically just check it down if you have to it don’t tell I’m paraphrasing he just set up the air how accurate is that you told could you maybe elaborate.? Acknowledging A-Rod’s capabilities and gameplay tactics, Wilson said, ?Yeah I think we’ve touched it before you know obviously we had packages with Aaron where he’s doing his own thing he’s calling his own plays and obviously I don’t think there’s another quarterback that’s that’s doing that.?

He then compared himself to the legend and said, ?I don’t have 20 years of experience to do that you know so I definitely think we have things built into our plan where there is built-in ability to change plays,? while also displaying confidence in his team?s gameplay. Wilson still has a long way to go to fill the shoes of Rodgers!
