The Carolina Panthers’ tight end, Hayden Hurst, was injured during Week 10’s game against the Chicago Bears. After the hit, Hurst was asked to remain in concussion protocol. In his recovery phase, the fans are pouring their love and support for the tight end. However, Hurst’s situation didn’t end with an injury. He was diagnosed with post-traumatic amnesia after he took a hit, and the situation just got worse.

However, there’s a positive update on the situation from the tight end himself. In the positive update, Hurst even disclosed that he suffered a memory loss for the next four hours after the game.

Fans support Hayden Hurst

Hayden Hurst took to his Twitter account to share an update on his injury. Hurst wrote, “I appreciate everyone reaching out & checking on me. I suffered a pretty nasty concussion against the Bears a few weeks ago & don’t remember up to 4 hours after the game. Scary situation but the Panthers have been incredible walking me through this process.” 

In the following tweet, one of the fans poured in their love and tagged Hurst as a warrior by writing, “Love you old friend. Glad you’re feeling better since, and continued prayers. You’re a warrior and you’ll make it out better. Godspeed 88.” Continuing the drill, another one wrote, “Scary stuff. Hoping for a smooth recovery.” Hoping for his comeback, one of the fans wrote, “Can’t wait to see you back Hayden!

Another fan wrote, “Praying for you a full recovery.” After these positive responses, Hurst will receive a boost in his recovery. And Hurst himself declared that he is starting to return to the play.

Hayden Hurst’s injury

Hurst had scored 18 receptions, 184 yards, and one touchdown this season before his injury. In the fourth quarter of the game against the Bears, Hurst was hit and tackled on the ground by the Bears’ safety Jaquan Brisker. However, he took time to get up and remained on the field till the final play. Subsequently, he was put on a concussion protocol

Hurst shared an update about his situation on Twitter. Hurst wrote, “While it was scary, it is NOT career-ending. I’m starting my return to play this week, so fingers crossed I make it back for the last few weeks! God Bless & Keep Pounding !!!!” Prayers are with Hurst, and the NFL enthusiasts are willing to see him back on the gridiron.
