Despite the Philadelphia Eagles WR James Bradberry earning a spot in the Super Bowl last year, the San Francisco 49ers WR Deebo Samuel didn’t hesitate to diminish the former’s skills during a podcast appearance. While in Arizona for Super Bowl weekend, Samuel candidly expressed his views on the I AM ATHLETE podcast, cohosted by Ashley Nicole Moss, LeSean McCoy, Adam “PacMan” Jones, and Brandon Marshall.

In the midst of the episode, Samuel didn’t mince words, labeling Bradberry as “trash.” This created a bit of a controversy on the internet, and the comment didn’t sit well with the fans as well. Recently, Samuel was asked about his thoughts on the statement he made in the past. Well, the response triggered Bradberry’s teammate AJ Brown and he asked his fans to troll the Niners wide receiver.

Deebo Samuel, the formidable Pro Bowl receiver, doesn’t shy away from expressing his sentiments, especially when it comes to the team that ousted him in the previous year. In an interview with Zion Olojede of Complex back in May, Samuel pulled no punches, openly declaring the Philadelphia Eagles as his “most hated team right now.” His candid admission sheds light on the relentless trash talk emanating from both the Eagles’ fan base and players.

Moreover, in a recent interview, when the reporters asked him if he regrets calling his rival “trash” in the podcast, Samuel simply denied it. He stated, “I don’t regret nothing I said.” Well, this interview got into the eyes of Bradberry’s WR friend AJ Brown, who made a special post on X for Samuel. He asked the Eagles fans to continue giving the same treatment to Samuel as they were before. He wrote, “Eagle fans… it’s troll [Deebo Samuel] week. You have my permission.”

The rivalry on the internet has always been blatant. After the Super Bowl, Samuel made his views on Bradberry more eminent, as he made yet another post to substantiate his reasons for not considering the Eagles WR a good enough player. It’s still shocking that he still stands strong on those views all these months later.

Patrick Mahomes, despite grappling with an ankle injury, orchestrated a remarkable comeback, steering his team down the field with less than two minutes remaining. The prospect of a field goal attempt loomed after a fourth-down stop, seemingly sealing the fate of the game.

So taking this as the foundation, Deebo Samuel made a post on X, on how he was right about the assessment of the wide receiver. He wrote, “Believe me now.”
