Tyreek Hill is an anomaly in the NFL and people embrace him with open arms. So much so, that they want to see the Cheetah go against professional Olympic athletes. A couple of weeks ago, there was some major hoopla about Hill racing Noah Lyles and a lot of back and forth took place. Now, Robert Griffin III has somehow found his way into the argument.

It started when RGIII shared a video of Mondo Duplantis beating Karsten Warholm in a 100m dash and captioned the video, “Mondo vs Tyreek Hill would FEED FAMILIES” and tagged both individuals in his post on X. For some reason, the Miami Dolphins WR didn’t like the initiative from RGIII and took a dig at him by replying, “ESPN I understand now [laughing emoji].”

The situation brought out some unsavory comments and the former Heisman winner took it one step further to elicit a response from the fastest man in the NFL. In his latest quip, Griffin took to X and wrote, “Now I see why you got so many kids, everyone needs protection around you [laughing emoji].” But it didn’t stop there.

Hill, who reportedly has more than 10 children, didn’t take kindly to the jab and took to the comment section of RGIII’s post. “Man brought my family into this [laughing emoji],” said the receiver as he retaliated in the comment section. The situation has since blown a bit out of proportion. Addressing the family comment, Griffin later replied to Tyreek Hill’s quip by adding, “You brought mine into [crying emoji]. They impact too [crying emoji]. And I ain’t even say nothing bad about you [crying emoji].”

However, people talking about Tyreek Hill’s kids isn’t something new. Hill now reportedly has over 12 kids with 4 baby mothers. The WR has been surrounded by controversies regarding paternity suits, child support and even rumoredly filing a divorce against his wife, Keeta Vaccaro. In July 2024, Hill was declared the father of another girl child and it didn’t deter Antonio Brown from poking fun at Tyreek Hill while Nick Cannon also caught some strays in the process.

“Giving @NickCannon a run for his money.” wrote Antonio Brown in a response to MLFootball’s post that claimed Hill to be fathering over 12 children. But coming back to the matter between Hill and RGIII, the WR decided that the best course of action for him would be to take a shot at Robert Griffin’s woes.

Why did RGIII get fired from ESPN?

ESPN fired their long-time cast members Samantha Ponder and Robert Griffin on grounds of financial problems ahead of the new fiscal year. Griffin had been working with ESPN since 2021. He started as a college football analyst and joined the Monday Night Countdown in 2022. However, things took a turn for the worse.

Apparently, ESPN has signed Jason Kelce to replace Robert Griffin, who had 2 years remaining on his contract. Griffin was making a seven-figure salary before the debacle occurred. In mid-August, he took to X and shared that he’d answer all the questions in due time and thanked his fans for their unparalleled support.
