Tyreek Hill is making his points clear. After saving his friend Tua Tagovailoa from public scrutiny, this time, Tyreek Hill and Julius Collins have someone else to praise. They recently came to support Patrick Mahomes, the quarterback who recently had an embarrassing loss against the Denver Broncos.

Just three days ago, Stephen A. Smith bashed Patrick Mahomes after his loss to Russell Wilson’s squad. Although coach Andy Reid took all the responsibilities for the loss, many still blame Mahomes and his illness for the historic upset. However, amid all these, Mahomes has found the support of Dolphins star Tyreek Hill, who hailed Mahomes as the greatest quarterback of the league.

In a recent episode of his podcast, Tyreek Hill, along with his co-host Julius Collins, discussed the real issue of the Chiefs and hailed Patrick Mahomes as the best. As the Chiefs lost to the Broncos 9-24, Mahomes and his teammates were facing a continuous backlash from sports analysts like Stephen A. Smith and other sports critics. To give a reply to the haters and their stance on Mahomes’ performance, Hill blamed the receivers of the team, saying, “I don’t know…I didn’t too much watch the game. I had one of my ex-teammates text me and was like something wrong with these receivers and then after that I didn’t look so it had to be on the receivers or something.”

Backing his statements, Collins, too, added, “That’s what I was thinking. You can’t put it on Pat because one thing about him is he going to do what he does.” He continued that whether it’s the receivers or no matter what the situation is, the Chiefs have the greatest quarterbacks of all time who “can deliver you the ball and you got to kind of reel it in.” There is no denying that Mahomes is one of the best that the NFL has ever seen. In his last matchups against the Orange team, the 2x MVP had a bad time, arguably due to his flu-like symptoms, as he threw two interceptions and posted a weak 59.2 passer rating.

This was the second worst game of his career, the first being with the Broncos itself, where he had a passer rating of 57.3 in 2021. Meanwhile, Smith thinks Mahomes has only one weapon and is only reliable on him.

According to him, the new addition of Mecole Hardman will take some more time to impact the team’s performance. Furthermore, the sports analyst also expressed his point saying, “Kansas City isn’t what they used to be.”
