The 8-6 Buffalo Bills might be on the trajectory to get a playoff berth after dominating the Dallas Cowboys. They have won 6 home games this season so far, including the one against the Cowboys. Though Josh Allen had a sub-par game, this win might be attributed to the Bills’ RB, James Cook.

After this game, the RB became the 3 player in the NFL in all-purpose yards (1,401). So, he is amongst the top three Running Backs in the league following this game. Cook was able to penetrate the infamous Dallas Cowboys’ defense. He also revealed the secret behind it post-game.

A Fox reporter caught hold of the RB after the game and got much-needed insights from him. She mentioned how James Cook was the star of the game and how he had a couple of career highs in a single game. The reporter asked him about what he knew about the Dallas Cowboys defense and the reason behind his success in the game.

James Cook said that he felt great and made every opportunity count. He further continued, “They are a great defense, so you know, once you get the ball, you can’t hesitate. You just got to go.”

The Fox correspondent wanted to know the reason behind his newfound confidence and talked about his improved performance since last month. The RB replied, “You know, just my preparation, each and every day I work hard, and it pays off on Sundays.”

The statement by the running back definitely holds a lot of weight. Because this game was his best so far, and with barely a couple more games to go, chances are this will be his best game in the 2023 season.

Not only this, but he also flipped into the end zone and became the highlight of the night. Another interesting thing to note is that he is only 32 yards away from crossing 1,000 yards for the Bills. He’ll be the first player to do so since LeSean McCoy’s 2017 record of 1,138 yards with the Bills.
