You know what they say, once in the limelight for bad reasons, always in the limelight for bad reasons. Okay, they don’t say that. But you get the gist. Jason Kelce just can’t catch a break and it seems like people are just trying to get a reaction out of him after the incident at Penn State, where he smashed someone’s phone for calling his brother homophobic slurs and taking shots at Travis Kelce’s romantic life.
Well, the pea brains are back at it again, seeking more attention than ever. This time, though, someone got irked at the older Kelce for not giving them an autograph. Apparently, the former Philadelphia Eagles center was in Hollywood, getting ready to leave after filming with Jimmy Kimmel. Fans were already camped outside the studio, but one of them got mad when Kelce passed them, without leaving them a souvenir.
“You ain’t nobody special!” said the man in the video initially shared by TMZ. Jason got into his ride, but the person kept yelling slurs at him, saying, “You’re some s— bag, f—ing guy that thinks he’s on some pedestal!” But Kelce had learned his lesson from crashing out last time. He had to apologize for his actions on live TV. But this wasn’t him getting worried about his broadcasting career. It was something else.

“I have a habit of not signing for people that follow where I’m going,” Kelce explained. But the man was unrelenting in his pursuit to get an autograph and started blurting out more slurs. “I’ll be running the Marvel Cinematic Universe,” the guy said. “Watch for me, you p—y! F— you. And f— your love!”
But something in Jason changed, he calmed down and signed the things autograph seekers had. That hit the man yelling in a soft spot and he later apologized to the former Eagles center for acting out. “You’re good, bro,” Jason Kelce told him and accepted his apology.

Jason Kelce says discourse is not the solution to a problem
Okay, so everyone remembers what happened at Penn State when a student called Travis Kelce a “fa—ot” and Jason snapped. What would you do if someone yelled homophobic slurs at your siblings? It seems like people are provocative on purpose these days. Social media has people believing that they are invincible. The student was really quiet when Kelce turned around and confronted him and smashed his phone.

The 7x Pro Bowler had to apologize on Monday Night Countdown ahead of the Kansas City Chiefs–Tampa Bay Buccaneers game. Scott Van Pelt turned the spotlight on Jason Kelce and let him do his thing.
“You know, listen, I think everybody has seen on social media everything that took place this week. Listen, I’m not happy with anything that took place. I’m not proud of it and in a heated moment I chose to greet hate with hate, and I just don’t think that’s a productive thing, I really don’t,” Jason Kelce said on the Monday Night Countdown.

Hopefully, para socials don’t make a light out of this incident and blow it out of proportion. It already has gone viral and the last thing Jason Kelce needs is another dent in his character. However, he didn’t lash out like last time. So, that’s a good thing. Let’s hope the person who went ballistic realizes where he went wrong and most importantly, doesn’t sell that autograph to make a quick buck.
