George Kittle, the San Francisco 49ers’ star tight end, is taking a detour from the gridiron. Recently, the NFL off-season has witnessed numerous stars enjoy their free time. Kittle also has taken this time to indulge in other activities which include the Wrestlemania power show. Just like last season, the tight end once again showcased his presence on the grand stage.

WrestleMania 40 just wrapped up and was a nerve-wracking competition! It all went down at Lincoln Financial Field in Philly. On one hand, Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns faced off in a match with “Bloodline Rules,” which pretty much means anything goes. On the other hand, the night before, The Rock teamed up with Reigns and they took down Rhodes and Seth Rollins, setting the stage for the main event.

While many stars and celebrities from all across sports and entertainment domains cheered for this anticipated event, George Kittle was also in attendance. Taking to Instagram, the professional football player uploaded a couple of his pictures at the Wrestlemania stadium. One of the clicks was in front of the seats with customized covers showcasing ‘the Rock’ and Cody Rhodes facing each other.

Kittle could also be seen rocking some wild Crocs, all decked out with Pringles. He captioned the post, “Back at Wrestlemania…peep the @Pringles x @Crocs 👀 #CrocsPartner,” making sure no one missed the cool and unique pair of shoes. Apart from the shoes, George Kittle was also sporting a black bomber jacket, grey sweats, black shirt, and a signature black cap.

The photographs were a reminder of the epic show the tight end put on last year at Wrestlemania 39 as he jumped in with a move straight out of a highlight reel. His recent appearance at the mega showdown, though not accompanied by something that massive, still reflected its style through the custom Crocs.

The Miz’s warning to George Kittle after Wrestlemania 39

Speaking of the showdown, Wrestlemania 39 saw The Miz learning a lesson the hard way when Kittle pulled off a legit clothesline after the loudmouth host pushed Pat McAfee a bit too far. One second The Miz is jawing, the next he’s catching these hands (and a flying shoulder) as the NFL’s reigning “Stone Cold” Steve Austin impersonator.

Fast forward to December of last year, Kittle posted on Instagram a clip of his fight with The Miz at WrestleMania, with a desire for repetition. The Miz reacted “The outcome will not be the same, I promise”. At the end of the night though, the moment everyone will never forget is Kittle’s official induction into Mania lore. When you’re that committed to the game, putting your body on the line is all in a night’s work.
