“Wow, Was That Taylor Swift?”:  Matt LaFleur Gets Interrupted by Taylor Swift Song During Presser

America’s heartthrob Taylor Swift is raising the temperature in Brazil after the Eras tour completed its US leg. Taylor Swift couldn’t make it to her beau, Chiefs‘ TE Travis Kelce‘s game because of her tight schedule and Brazil’s record-breaking heat. But again, the NFL community at large cannot get over the Swift-fever. Taylor Swift has hit the right mark, but it has nothing to do with the Chiefs this time. This one is about the Packers and its head coach, Matt LaFleur.

The Packers defeated the Chargers 23-20 on Sunday. With this win, they have registered their fourth and look strong as their offense seems prepared for the upcoming games. The Packers HC Matt LaFleur has got some respite now and in a recent press conference he heard Taylor Swift’s voice.

The Packers have a 4-6 record this season and are standing third in the NFC North division. This has surely built up the much-needed confidence and Matt LaFleur rightly seems less worried during the presser. During the presser, a reporter asked a question about the status of Packers’ TE Luke Musgrave’s abdomen injury. But the conversation took a sweet twist when Taylor Swift’s reference got their hopes high.

LaFleur acknowledged that and said, “Yeah he has got a pretty significant injury, so you know I think it just speaks of his toughness because he”. As he was about to complete, he got interrupted by what looked like a phone ringtone in the background. LaFleur was fast to notice that the song artist was none other than the pop queen herself. He exclaimed with a smile “Wow, that was interesting! Was that Taylor Swift?”. This made the reporters burst into laughter as LaFleur added “Good one Wilde!”

After a brief chuckle, he said, “Where were we?” as the song made him forget about Musgrave’s injury. Well, the news is that he is now out of the hospital and on his road to recovery. Whether it is the Chiefs or any other team, the NFL right now just can’t seem to get enough of Swift.

When will Swift be back to support the Chiefs?

The 12-time Grammy-winning artist has been a very busy woman lately. She has covered Buenos Aires and Rio this month and her Eras tour is right now heading towards Sao Paulo. Moreover, the recorded heat in Brazil was a tough one for Swift, who witnessed the death of her fan during the concert. She will be performing there from 24 to 26 of November. The Chiefs are getting ready for their next battle which will take place at the Allegiant Stadium against the Raiders.
