Aaron Rodgers recently mentioned that Zach Wilson finally found his rhythm with the New York Jets. After a blowout win against the Houston Texans, the once-dejected quarterback was able to redeem himself. Thanks to Wilson and Tommy DeVito, the MetLife Stadium was packed with activity for the first time in a while. Rodgers hasn’t returned yet, and there are four more weeks of a demanding schedule ahead of this New York team.
The Jets are going against the Miami Dolphins in their next matchup, and Wilson decided to speak to the media about his future with the New York Jets. However, for now, the Jets QB1 focuses on getting those wins, improving the team, and taking it one day at a time.

Wilson was asked how being in the league turns players into worrying about immediate issues and looking at the bigger picture. He was also asked about his plans to combat the remaining four weeks of this regular season and his place with the Jets in the near future.
Wilson replied, “Yeah, I think that the league is tough enough a week at a time, so I think I’ve been spending my time focusing on the guys in this locker room, and like I said, coming up and trying to get a big win in Miami and out next three weeks after that so, my focus has been primarily on that, you know focusing on doing the best I can to put us in the best position to go out there and play well.”
The Jets are on a one-game win streak and took over the Texans by a landslide. Per Rodgers, who came to The Pat McAfee Show, Zach Wilson found his rhythm with the team. Rodgers’ return to the league by Christmas is uncertain.

Per Rodgers and many others, the game against the Texans broke a 5-game losing curse. It was a product of Wilson making simple plays, completing his passes, and quickly getting the ball out of his hands. The win was also because of the play-calling from the Jets’ staff, who ensured that Zach Wilson put his best foot forward this time. Teamwork, in its literal sense, indeed!
This win shows everyone just how capable Zach Wilson is on the field. We would guess that a lot might have changed after he was benched mid-game for Tim Boyle and, at some point, was replaced by Trevor Siemian. Both replacements couldn’t do much to fill his shoes admirably. The Jets lost to the Dolphins in the game that happened a couple of weeks ago. Things may be different this time.
