The first time Kansas City Chiefs star, Travis Kelce tried to meet Taylor Swift was when he tried to give her a self-made friendship bracelet during her Eras tour. The singer didn?t meet him. A disappointed Kelce said, ?So I was a little b**-hurt I didn?t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her.? But Kelce didn?t give up.

The second time around he succeeded. Swift came to attend a game for the Kansas City Chiefs on September 24. Since then, she has attended more games and both of them have been spotted on outings together. As more public appearances sparked more rumors, different media reports also emerged where Swift apparently made it clear that they were getting to know each other and had a pretty packed schedule for anything serious to happen. However, that was in September this year.

Swift has been seen enjoying NFL games and also proudly donning Kelce?s number. Dinner dates have followed too. Not just that, Kelce has also acknowledged Swift’s positive influence on his game. While their representatives have not confirmed any plans for marriage, fans are watching closely. They continue enjoying the moments shared by ?Traylor? as they emerge. In a February 6, 2023, episode of his brother, Jason?s podcast, New Heights, Travis Kelce had made some comments about ?finding a breeder? that came in for sharp criticism. Many people found his comments sexist and degrading to women. Kelce would go on to apologize for the comments and clarify that he did want to objectify women and that he was joking. He accepted that it was a poor choice of words.

Swift meanwhile has been more discreet about her views on marriage. However, in the past and also in the recent past, the lyrics of her songs have come in for scrutiny. Many fans believe that the lyrics hint at experiences in past relationships. For example, the lyrics from her song, ?Lavender Haze?, ?I?m damned if I do give a damn what people say/ the 1950s s?t they want from me/ I just wanna stay in that lavender haze,? she sings. ?All they keep asking me is if I?m gonna be your bride/ the only kinda girl they see is a one night or a wife,? was seen as her commentary on her relationship with actor Joe Alwyn while also hinting at her views on marriage.
