The 2024 regular season is about to come to an end. And while the Jets are out of the playoffs, they would like to finish strong. However, they must first overcome a massive boulder on their road known as the Bills. New York must take extreme caution when facing this opponent, as everyone is aware that the Bills have performed exceptionally this season. To beat such a team, the Jets would need to enter the field at full strength, but there is one problem. Main players like Davante Adams and Sauce Gardner are out due to injury, but a new update on them has come. So, are they going to play?
For those who missed it, Head Coach Jeff Ulbrich released the injury report for Week 17. And while the man provided some excellent updates for the Jets fans, there were also some disappointing ones. For example, Sauce Gardner, who had a serious hamstring injury in Week 13, is still not doing well. The HC has claimed that while the injury is stopping Gardner, the CB is trying his best. On the other side, top player Davante Adams, who suffered a hip injury in Week 16, is hoping to return.
The report revealed, “Jets injury update: WR Davante Adams (hip) returned to practice and looked good, per Ulbrich. CB Sauce Gardner (hamstring) and DT Quinnen Williams (hamstring) will try to play, Ulbrich says, but it sounds iffy. #Jets”

While fans may need to wait longer for Sauce Gardner to return. The good news is that Davante Adams is entering the field. And it can be anticipated that the WR will show his great plays once more alongside his great pal Aaron Rodgers. If this QB-WR pair works perfectly, the Jets will undoubtedly be able to stand strong against the Bills, as the offense has been the weak point of the team. Even Davante Adams believes that the Jets have struggled offensively this season.

Davante Adams thinks the Jets need to improve their offensive game
The Jets are currently third in the AFC East with four wins and eleven defeats. The team has been extremely disappointing, and there has only been one concern from the start: offense. To address this issue, Davante Adams was brought in, but this move did not make much difference. The team’s record after the WR got traded is 2-7, and after their recent 19-9 loss to the Rams, Adams himself snapped out.
After the game, the WR gave an interview in which he was extremely frustrated. He claimed, “It looked like a normal game. It just looked a little too normal for what we’ve put on tape this year. It went in line with that and didn’t execute at the right moments to score enough points. I don’t know if I’d say we’d struggled offensively, I would say we struggled to score for sure … It’s kind of been the story of the season, honestly.”

To change these factors, the Jets will be trying to dominate this game, especially because they will have a home advantage. On the other hand, the Bills are coming off a two-game victory run. So it will be intriguing to watch who will stand out from these teams. Tell us what you think, and stay tuned for more updates.
