Can the Commanders survive without Lattimore, or is this game against the Cowboys already lost?

Week 11 is gone, and it appears that the Commanders will still not be at full strength. Marshon Lattimore, one of the team’s key cornerbacks, is still not looking good. The man received continuous strikes to his hamstring in week 7 and week 8. After this, his hamstring issue worsened. Due to this, we have not seen him in two weeks and now we can say three weeks.

Well, yeah. The injury report for Washington Commanders has arrived, and it does not come with good news. It seems evident that Marshon Lattimore will not return in Week 12. His wounds have not fully healed, and while the man wishes to return, he has not received medical clearance. This implies Commanders’ defense will take a hit in the week 12 game as well. However, this game is against the Dallas Cowboys, therefore the team’s lack of defensive power could cause them the game.

The report about his injury stated, “#Commanders CB Marshon Lattimore (hamstring) is still out due to his hamstring injury and won’t play Sunday vs. the Dallas Cowboys.” With 30 tackles and 8 assists, Marshon Lattimore can really become an incredible part of the team’s defense.

His return is critical, and there is no set timeframe for it. According to speculation, his Commanders’ debut could take place in Week 13. At that time, Commanders will face Titans at Northwest Stadium. Although there is a strong chance of this happening, all of this is still not confirmed. The CB himself does not know much about his injury.

Marshon Lattimore knows nothing about his comeback

Marshon Lattimore was traded from the New Orleans Saints to the Commanders two weeks ago. At the time, it was evident that the CB had not sustained long-term harm. However, it appears that the Commanders will need to wait a little longer than expected. When asked about his injuries, the CB had no idea when he would return.

Have an interesting take?

Marshon Lattimore stated in a media appearance, “I don’t know. That’s up to the trainers… I don’t really know what’s going on as far as timetable, getting back on the field, so it’s up to them.” The man was even scheduled to attend practice sessions this week. However, due to present circumstances, this will be postponed for the time being. Perhaps little exercises are preferable for him in his current position.

Commanders fans will have to wait a little longer to see Marshon Lattimore in a red uniform. Perhaps week 13 will bring some luck and charm to the team. So that their traded cornerback can make his debut for them. After all the Commanders gave a lot of effort to bring him onboard. So stay tuned for additional updates on his injuries.
