Will Hailee Steinfeld's presence at the game boost Josh Allen's performance or be a distraction?

NFL fans aren’t exactly feeling Taylor Swift’s growing presence in the league. Even though she’s just cheering from the stands for her Chiefs’ beau, Travis Kelce, it’s got folks expressing their frustration. Meanwhile, the Bills have their own Hollywood star—Josh Allen’s girlfriend, Hailee Steinfeld. Not as big as Tay-Tay, but still a well-known name. The twist? Fans don’t seem to mind her as much. Hence why many are pondering over Hailee’s status. Whether she’d be in the stands for Allen’s Thursday night clash with the Dolphins or not.

All speculations and the latest social media snaps indicate that she might not be there. Why? Hailee Steinfeld was in New York yesterday for a Boucheron event. One of the clips has gone viral where she was standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Cole Sprouse, Gwenyth Paltrow, Alexa Chung, and a couple more celebrities while posing for a group pic at the event.

It takes about three hours via plane to reach Miami from NYC. If you think that’s nothing, then we agree with you. Indeed. But if we were to play a bookmaker’s hand and bet on it, then we’d be betting on her absence at the Hard Rock Stadium. Though, it’s anyone’s guess at the moment. Especially if Josh Allen plays like he did against the Cardinals. Then she might just want to make it in time.

Right now, it’s all up in the air since Hailee’s team isn’t spilling any details about her plans. She’s all about keeping things private, and honestly, who can blame her? Even her Instagram is radio silent—no posts or stories hinting at a Miami appearance.

Talking about absence, there was a growing worry about the possibility of Josh Allen missing the week 2  game against the Phins. But the latest updates are quite optimistic. Phew!

Josh Allen is “ready to go”-Hailee or not!

What’s your perspective on:

Will Hailee Steinfeld's presence at the game boost Josh Allen's performance or be a distraction?

Have an interesting take?

Josh Allen might have banged up his hand, but that won’t stop him from suiting up against the Dolphins. The Bills’ QB took a tumble in Week 1, yet he was a force to be reckoned with. He got up and finished the game. And not just that, led the Bills to the end zone with a 34-28 win over the Cardinals. The 28-year-old shrugged off the injury scare and threw for 232 yards, completing 18/23 passes with a completion rate of 78.2%. So, no wonder there was a nervousness in camp over his situation.

But don’t worry—Allen says he’s “good and ready to go.” He further added, “Felt like I threw it well today [Tuesday] and was able to do all the things, so ready to go.” You gotta love that grit, right? With his hand heavily taped, he powered through the win over Arizona, and now, he’s laser-focused on Miami. Pressure? What pressure? Allen gave fans an update, saying he felt solid during practice, even throwing well despite the hand. No excuses, just game mode. Plus, wearing a glove isn’t new for him—he’s done it before in cold games, and now it’s just for “a little extra help.” So, glove or no glove, Allen’s still bringing the heat. Do you think the Dolphins’ defense can shake him?

Speaking of the Dolphins, their D-line had Trevor Lawrence on the run with three sacks last week. You can bet they’ll be gunning for Josh Allen too, so it’s up to the Bills’ O-line to keep him clean. After all, the man put up two passing TDs and two rushing TDs last week, despite getting sacked twice. And now, he’s ready to keep Bills record to a solid 2-0 after week 2.

Now, while Hailee Steinfeld might not be a guaranteed fan in the stands, Allen’s a pro who knows that no matter what, she’s there. If not in Miami, she’d be tuning on Amazon Prime for a watch. What do you think? Will his hand hold up, or will the Dolphins find a way to get under his skin?
