Ready for a Backyard Brawl on Thursday night? The Niners and the Seahawks are marshaling their troops for more of a battle. And guess what? San Francisco might have one-upped Seattle in the pre-game mind games with some exciting updates on George Kittle and Fred Warner.

Per NFL Network’s, Tom Pelissero: “George Kittle was a full participant in practice on Wednesday. He is good to go against the Seahawks.” As for Fred, he said: “He’s been dealing with an ankle injury, but was a full participant on Wednesday.” Hell yeah! The game’s on.

The 49ers’ season has been a bit of a rollercoaster, with injuries hitting their top stars left and right. From Christian McCaffrey’s Achilles issue to Deebo Samuel missing time, this 2-3 start has been rough—one they’d want to make better. And now, maybe, just maybe, it might happen. Why did we say that? George Kittle and Fred Warner are back. That’s a huge W.

Kittle missed Week 3 against the Rams with that rib injury. But he’s been back on the field. Eight catches, 64 yards, and a touchdown last Sunday against the Cardinals showed he’s ready to roll. Yes, the Niners lost the game by just a single point, but to get their all-pro TE back and running is a good sign.

Kittle and Warner being removed from the injury report is basically the “all systems go” signal for the Niners. With a primetime showdown in Seattle looming, having two All-Pros back in the lineup could be exactly what they need to turn things around.

What’s your perspective on:

With Kittle and Warner back, are the Niners set to dominate the Seahawks on Thursday night?

Have an interesting take?

If you are not, then you should be ready. With 225 yards on 23 receptions and three touchdowns already this season, Kittle’s been doing his thing. And hey, that’s while facing the rib injury. But the 49ers need him to kick it into high gear. He’s been steady, sure, but steady won’t cut it when the team’s 2-3. And you can put a wager on him to light the gridiron, come week 6.

Why? Because he’d be facing the Seahawks. Kittle’s no rookie to this rivalry. He’s snagged 51 catches, 750 yards, and five touchdowns in 12 regular-season games against Seattle. Sheesh! If the Niners want to avoid dropping deeper into a hole, Kittle’s going to have to do what he does best—dominate. The question is, can they flip the script in prime time?

Kittle, in his no-nonsense way, made it clear to Erin Andrews after the loss against the Cardinals. He’s not fazed by the rocky start. “Shock? No. Cause the NFL’s hard. It’s hard to win football games,” he said. Spoken like a true vet. He knows the grind, and he knows the pressure. But pressure is part of the gig, and Kittle’s laser-focused on getting better each week. The man’s not panicking—he’s plotting the comeback.

But you can bet him to cook with Brock Purdy, making history with every throw. That week 5 touchdown throw to Kittle? It made Purdy the fastest QB in 49ers’ history to hit 50 passing TDs. This connection between Kittle and Purdy might just be what turns things around. They must do it for the Faithful!
