Not all snowy weather is a winter wonderland — some of it comes with a tough loss on the field. The San Francisco 49ers are having a kind of season so far. Well, it’s not like Kyle Juszczyk fumbling the ball on the 1-yard line lost the game for the 49ers, but a touchdown there would’ve definitely changed the game’s momentum

First, Christian McCaffrey’s potential season-ending knee injury, and now Juszczyk’s unexpected fumble. What could be the reason behind the 49ers’ rising struggles? It’s neither, according to Juszczyk’s wife, Kristin. Oh, yeah! Kristin has her theory over the Niners’ loss against the Buffalo Bills in week 13. She thinks her apparel (a red snowsuit) that she wore during the game is cursed and might’ve caused the team’s loss.

“The snowsuits are officially cursed… Win or lose we’re always having a good time! Thank you Buffalo for the amazing memories!!” Kristin said while posting her picture on her Instagram handle after Juszczyk’s 49ers’ loss. In the picture, she was spotted wearing the same snowsuit as the one she wore on game night.

Of course, Kristin took the team’s loss in stride and still enjoyed the game, even with the result. On the flip side, it’s just not a one-game story for her and that snowsuit curse. Before the 49ers‘ Week 12 matchup against the Packers, Kristin and George Kittle’s wife, Claire, were spotted twinning in the same snowsuit. And I’m not required to announce the result of that game, do I?

It looks like that snowsuit actually turned out to be a bit of a curse for the 49ers. And now it seems she’s not planning to wear a snowsuit to another 49ers game anytime soon.

What’s your perspective on:

Is Kyle Juszczyk's fumble a sign of deeper issues for the 49ers, or just bad luck?

Have an interesting take?

At the beginning of the second half, a touchdown from the 49ers could switch the momentum and they’re likely about it. However, a fumble by the 49ers’ fullback pretty much shut down their chances for a much-needed comeback, and in the end, they lost to the Bills 35-10. And Kyle was clearly disappointed by this fumble.

“I don’t get a ton of opportunities, so every one them means so much to me. So when something like that happens, I take it personally and it’s something that I never want to happen and something that I’ll do everything to try to fix,” said Kyle as he was frustrated by the fumble. But it wasn’t just a fumble, it was a good play from the Bills.

Well, of course, it’s not always that he does such crucial mistakes and surely he’s ready to move on from this loss. As the San Francisco 49ers are sitting with 5-7, Kyle Juszczyk’s focus will be on the team’s next game against the Chicago Bears as they’re desperate for a win now.
