Tommy DeVito seemed to have run out of luck far too quickly. After Daniel Jones was benched and later released, the man had an opportunity to shine. But the severe injuries he sustained deprived him of this opportunity. For those who missed Week 12, the quarterback crashed on his forearm, severely injuring it. The damage appeared to be significant, so he was stopped in New York for an MRI examination. The team bus left without him to Dallas for the next game.
Unfortunately, the individual has not been medically approved and will not be able to compete today. This implies that Drew Lock, the Giants‘ third quarterback, will be leading the team. It is a very horrible period for the squad. And the release of Daniel Jones may not have been a great decision by the team. However, they are going to play what they have on the table and this means that Lock must do well on the field. Tommy DeVito’s comprehensive report is expected to be released before the game ends.

The teams have played 125 games, with the Cowboys leading the series with 76-47-2. The Giants’ last win in Dallas came in 2016. And this means it has been 8 years since they last raised their flag in the Cowboys’ fort. This game is highly anticipated, and the departure of Tommy DeVito has added to the excitement. And the reason is that DeVito was not able to lead the team effectively in week 12. But what does the QB think of this?
Tommy DeVito cannot create fire in the Giants’ offense
While this was only his first game of the season, the quarterback performed below average. DeVito was unable to rush much, despite making good throws. The man could not break Tampa Bay’s defense. And as salt on the burn, Baker Mayfield, the Bucs’ quarterback, even mimicked DeVito’s celebration after a touchdown. While all of this added pressure to his head, an injury too caught up with him. Man, talk about bad luck.

Well, the quarterback still has not backed down and appeared positive following the game. He stated in the post-game conference, “I’m going to analyze but obviously, as you said, quarterbacks get (the credit) when it’s good, it’s great, when it’s bad it’s bad. So, being able to just stay even-keel through it all, understand what my job is, and make it better for next week.”
Well, it will be interesting to see how Tommy DeVito will recover from his last game. Until then, stay tuned for more updates.
