The Los Angeles Rams lost to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday Night Football. And it was a 17-point big loss. However, the worst news came for the fans after a few hours of this incident.

According to MLFootball on X, TMZ reported that “#Rams WR Demarcus Robinson was ARRESTED just a couple hours after last night’s loss for an alleged DUI.” The athlete was pulled over by the cops “after they clocked him driving over 100 mph.”

As per reports, it is speculated that Robinson “observed objective signs and symptoms of alcohol impairment” and hence, was arrested. This came a few hours after the Rams vs Eagles game, during which, the Rams’s athlete scored a touchdown.

Demarcus Robinson found the end zone on a two-yard pass from quarterback Matthew Stafford in the third quarter. So in total, he has six touchdowns for 384 yards in 26 catches. But now after this incident, it remains to be seen where his ship goes.

Until then, many Philly fans on social media are humorously joking about him, saying, “Eagles really got in their heads,” or “Dude got blown out and drank his sorrows away.” Besides that, the team has yet to make any official announcement on the incident.

According to the official report, it was just after 5 a.m. when an officer spotted Demarcus Robinson’s white Dodge sedan speeding recklessly on US-101 Northbound, South of Tampa Avenue. As a result, the officer “initiated an enforcement stop on the vehicle,” and pulled him over, suspecting something was off. However, in order to reportedly save himself, Robinson showed signs of impairment, raising concerns he might be under the influence of alcohol.

But when the officers asked him to take a field sobriety test, Demarcus Robinson refused. And this was the moment when things escalated quickly. He was arrested on suspicion of alcohol influence, and misdemeanor DUI and taken to the station.

It was during the process that Demarcus Robinson revealed his identity. He told the officers that he was an L.A. Rams player. Soon after that, as per TMZ, he was “released to a responsible party,” by the California Highway Patrol. Till now, nothing has been revealed about him and his status.

Nevertheless, the Rams’s coach Sean McVay is scheduled to speak to the media on Tuesday during a team press conference. And it’s possible that the reporters will ask him about WR Demarcus Robinson and his current status. So, it remains to be seen what will happen next. Stay tuned!
