Some of us have a lucky shirt, a lucky dress, or a lucky bracelet. Call it superstitious, but it is what we share with football stars. The MVP quarterback Patrick Mahomes wears the same underwear, Tom Brady used stones and mantras as his lucky signs, and Josh Allen throws up before every game. These are just a few. If we ask every NFL player, the majority of them would have something. The latest to join this list is Bills rookie Keon Coleman. One of his habits is unique.

The wide receiver wears 2 mouthguards during a football game. And they are in the colors of his opponents. He has been doing this since his college games for Michigan and Florida. During the game against the Dolphins, Coleman was clicked wearing a white and orange mouthpiece. The reason is hilarious. The WR trolls the rivals through his guards. That’s not the only thing.

He led his team in his NFL debut against the Cardinals with 4 of 5 passes for 51 receiving yards, resulting in a 34-28 win. While the Bills won 31-10 against the Dolphins in week 2, he didn’t have a single catch. And fans started trolling him because of that. While one fan called him ‘Keon Comedyman‘, another one wrote, “Bro got more mouth guards than catches.

Keon Coleman’s teammates love his originality

When the receiver visited Josh Allen’s house in the off-season, he refused to eat the fish he was served there. Coleman said, “What the heck is this, I’m not eating this.” Allen was confused, thinking he didn’t like that, but the WR said that he doesn’t eat fish. This impressed the QB, who praised him, “He does things his way and he’s always him. He’s very authentic. I love the guy.

Cornerback Rasul Douglas also loves Keon Coleman’s behavior around him. The CB said that once he (Coleman) gets comfortable, he would keep telling you stories all day long. While praising this storytelling trait of the receiver, Douglas mentioned, “It’s all day, like if you walk past Keon right now, he going to have a story to tell you. I’m telling you.

Before going to the training camp, the receiver watched ‘Four Falls of Buffalo,’ ESPN’s 30 for 30 documentary. It showcases the team during those 4 seasons when they played in 4 consecutive Super Bowls (1990-1993) but lost all of them. The receiver was so intense while watching it that he didn’t even open his phone once.
